【Charity party】at the Embassy of Mexico in Tokyo

We’d like to show our gratitude to all the participants for the Charity Party held at the Embassy of Mexico in Tokyo on February 8th.
Paintings by Mexican children affected by massive earthquake in Mexico as well as wildfire in Sonoma, CA in the US in 2017 were exhibited covering the entire wall flamboyantly.
Pleasant Mexican music by Mr. Sam Moreno and great cuisine specially prepared by the chef, Ms. Hoshino made the great atmosphere in harmony.

Kids Earth wines from Lumière, varieties of wines from aux nuages, soft drinks from Coca-Cola East Japan were sponsored.
The fund 209,700yen was raised for Mexican children by participation fee, charity goods purchase and donation.
昨日メキシコ大使館にて開催致しましたチャリティーパーティーにご参加頂きました皆様、ありがとうございました。
会場には被災地メキシコ及び山火事による甚大な被害のあった米国ソノマ地区で描かれた絵を壁一面に飾り、ご覧頂きました。
サム・モレーノさんによるメキシコ音楽の生演奏やVamos の星野シェフによるメキシコ料理をお楽しみ頂きました。ルミエールからキッズアースワイン、オ・ヌアージュより赤・白ワイン、ロゼ、コカコーラ・イースト・ジャパンよりソフトドリンクをご協賛頂き、メキシコの子どもたちの為にご協力頂きました。
会費やグッズ、募金のご協力により、20万9700円のご寄付が集まりました。

【Work shop】 in Cambodia

カンボジア Prek Treng primary Schoolにてワークショップ。
以前は、雨の日は雨漏りで休校になってしまっていたため、ワールド航空サービスのスポンサーにより、子供地球基金が建て直した小学校。
現在では4歳から12歳の585人もの子どもが通っています。
この小学校で美術の授業は無く、ワークショップの時が子どもたちにとっての美術の時間。...
小学校に入りたての子どもにとっては初めて見る絵の具。
恐る恐る、しかし目を輝かせながら絵を描いていました。
子どもたちの思いがキャンバスいっぱいに咲きました。

We held an art workshop at Prek Treng Primary School in Cambodia. This school used to close down whenever it rained due to leaks from the roof. Kids Earth Fund sponsored by World Air Sea service rebuilt the school.
Currently, there are 585 children going to this school at a age of between 4 to 12 years old. This school does not have art class. Our art workshop is the only time for them to taste the fun of art. It was first experience to see paintings for new children. They started to draw very carefully with sparkled eyes. Children’s message blossomed fully on canvas.

 

Art Workshop in Tohoku

KIDS EARTH FUND went in Tohoku this week-end. We did a art workshop in Kids Earth Home / Watari-Cho with children, and each child can paint what they would like : their feeling, their wish, their dream... Then, we went in temporary home in Tohoku to talk and listen about the situation in this city since the tsunami in 2011...

Fund Raising Party 2013 : 25th ANNIVERSARY

Each year, KIDS EARTH FUND organize a fund raising dinner to support the different Kids Earth Home.

So, in 2013, the organization celebrate its 25th anniversary at Grand Hyatt Tokyo the November 1st 2013.

Of course, the giant canvas of the World Tour Project will be put on display on the stage of the Gala Party.

This proceeds raised from the party have gone towards expending the Kids Earth Home support center in Croatia, Tohoku, Vietnam and Cambodia. Indeed, we built a home in these countries to assist and help children...

25th Anniversary Project : WORLD TOUR

This year is very important for KIDS EARTH FUND, indeed, the organization has 25 years old...

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, Kids Earth Fund is going to go around the world and creat a huge painting with children, with the theme "A present for planet Earth"... 

A giant canvas is travelling accross 12 countries to be painted by children from many countries and it finally will return to Watari City of Miyagi Prefecture to be completed by the children painting an Earth in the center of the canvas.

The project started in May, we did an art workshop in Vancouver, and then, we went in USA to continue the giant painting in New Jersey. Last week, we went in Hong Kong, it was the third part of the huge painting...

The next art workshop is in European countries (London, Croatia, Milan, Paris...) from 10th to 22nd July.

This "World Tour Project"  is followed by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) which creats a documentary about Kids Earth Fund and this project.
This documentary will broadcast in October.

KIDS EARTH FUND Wine Charity Party

Kids Earth Fund organize a Wine Charity Party at the Office in Ebisu in July 4th Thursday, from 19:00 to 21:30.

During this casual party, there will be a buffet and we will sell charity goods. Please join us.

Art Workshop in Tohoku Watari-Cho

Severals times a month, KIDS EARTH FUND organize an art workshop in the Kids Earth Home in Tohoku, called Watari-Cho.

Since the earthquake in 2011, Kids Earth Fund assist children and teach the children the importance of expressing themselves through drawing and sharing their dreams...

You can participate and go to Tohoku to enjoy the workshop painting with children.

This week-end, the 29th Saturday at 10am, you can participate. Please join us.
